Hoy Punjab, Kacheripady
Ernakulam, Kerala
As authentic Punjabi as it can get in Kochi. Some oriental and pasta options do exist for variety though. The parking space adjacent to the place is sufficient based on the number of tables here and cars won't have a problem going in and put (I am writing this specifically as people were wary about this in prev reviews). Expect a waiting time during peak hours. We had to wait for about 30 mins when we reached at 9.30 pm. The kalmi kebab was spicy and smoky chicken leg pieces which were nicely done. The paya shorba was just ok and the manchow soup was also mediocre. We tried the cheese naan, garlic naan, missi roti and the laccha paratha which were all freshly prepared and good, but the cheese naan stood out. Overall a great place for punjabi food if you do not mind spending over 600 per head.
